Description

Our beloved signature Botanica Protea Ring, available for the first time in a two-tone option. The diamond we have selected for this ring was locally mined and cut here in South Africa allowing for full provenance of this diamond. 

This unique Protea ring features a solid 9ct yellow gold shank, paired with a solid platinum setting to highlight the natural diamond's colour grade, a beautiful colour I and a great clarity of VVS1. 

Metal:

  • Shank: Solid 9ct Yellow Gold
  • Setting: Solid Platinum

Shank Measures:

2.9mm at the bottom, tapering to 2mm at the top

Stone Information:

Natural Diamond: Round Brilliant Cut, Colour I, VVS1 Clarity, 0.30ct

This wonderful natural diamond has been mined, cut, and graded right here in South Africa. A provenance certificate will be provided with your ring.

Your ring will be provided with a GIA Grading Report as well as a valuation certificate for insurance purposes.

Sizing:

This ring has already been manufactured and is ready to ship, however should the ring require sizing, the lead time will be 10 working days. If engraving needs to be added an additional 5 working days are needed to complete this. If neither of these are necessary it will be shipped within 3 working days of ordering.

Please note that gemstones can look different depending on the kind of light they are being viewed in. While we have tried to capture this stone in different types of light, it may look different in some settings; we think this is one of the aspects that makes your ring so unique.

Shipping & Return

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are separate to our manufacturing lead time. Please refer to lead times listed below each product on our website. Domestic

We send orders with Courier Guy or MDS throughout South Africa. Parcels cannot be delivered to a P.O Box, a physical address is needed where someone will be available to sign. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking number. Delivery takes between 2 to 5 days for standard delivery and 1 to 2 days for express. Delivery to farms, embassies/consulates, power stations, government buildings, hospitals and chain stores incur additional delivery fees. Please reach out to us for a quote should you wish to have your order delivered to any of the above locations.

Please ensure someone is available at the address to accept the delivery. We cannot take responsibility for missed deliveries if no one is available at the address. Undelivered items will be returned and any additional delivery costs will be the responsibility of the customer. It is suggested that you track your parcel once it is dispatched so you can monitor expected delivery.

We always aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible but some pieces do require up to 20 working days to manufacture. Our manufacturing lead times and shipping times are separate. If you require something for a sooner date please email us and we will do our best to accommodate.



International

We ship internationally with FedEx and DHL which takes between 4-10 working days depending on delivery area.

Please ensure someone is available at the address to accept the delivery. We cannot take responsibility for missed deliveries if no one is available at the address. Undelivered items will be returned and any additional delivery costs will be the responsibility of the customer. It is suggested that you track your parcel once it is dispatched so you can monitor expected delivery.

Please note your order could be subject to applicable customs, duties, taxes and fees charged by your government. We cannot be held responsible for these charges nor can we advise on what these charges may be. We recommend you contact your local customs office for this information.

Please note we cannot take responsibility for any delays in delivery due to a country's customs clearance process.



Returns

Customer satisfaction is the highest priority for us but due to the one-off nature of our bespoke pieces, we cannot accept returns and do not issue refunds on any pieces from our "Botanica Protea Rings", “Bespoke” or “Engagement and Wedding Rings” collections. In some cases exchanges may be facilitated at the sole discretion of Botanica Handcrafted Jewellery. Any exchanges must be requested within 14 days of collection or courier delivery. Pieces must be unworn, undamaged, and in the original packaging. Any pieces that have been sized, engraved, or altered in any way cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

In the unlikely event that a manufacturing defect is noticed, please report it to us immediately and return the item to our studio for an assessment within 30 days of collection or courier delivery. Due to the unique nature of each jewellery piece, any perceived defects are assessed on a case by case basis. Once the piece has been assessed we will discuss whether a repair or replacement is warranted.
