Description

The Path Less Taken ring was inspired by choosing your own way in life, selecting the path you choose to walk. With this in mind, Claire gave this ring an organic edge and a gently domed profile, like a path worn into the landscape. 

Not every story follows the traditional route, and not every ring needs to either. Choosing the path less taken is rarely the easy option, but it is often a very rewarding choice. This ring is a non-traditional ring for exactly that kind of journey. Whether you select it as wedding ring or talisman to mark a different journey, we hope this ring can become a part of your path less taken. 

The Path Less Taken Ring is one of three new rings inspired by the same journey, alongside the Winding Path Ring and the Off The Beaten Path Ring. 

Also available to order in 14ct gold, 18ct gold or platinum. Get in touch and we’ll be happy to create your Path Less Taken Ring in the metal of your choice.

Metal: 

Manufactured in solid 9ct yellow gold

Band Measures: 

5mm at the widest curve and 4.5mm at the narrowest bend. 

2mm thick all the way around. 

Due to the organic and hand made nature of this ring please allow for variations in these measurements.

Lead Time: 

These bands are hand made to order. It is important to allow 20 working days for manufacturing. This excludes any shipping times or size alternations etc. please allow sufficient time before the needed date for us to work our magic.

Shipping & Return

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are separate to our manufacturing lead time. Please refer to lead times listed below each product on our website. Domestic

We send orders with Courier Guy or MDS throughout South Africa. Parcels cannot be delivered to a P.O Box, a physical address is needed where someone will be available to sign. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking number. Delivery takes between 2 to 5 days for standard delivery and 1 to 2 days for express. Delivery to farms, embassies/consulates, power stations, government buildings, hospitals and chain stores incur additional delivery fees. Please reach out to us for a quote should you wish to have your order delivered to any of the above locations.

Please ensure someone is available at the address to accept the delivery. We cannot take responsibility for missed deliveries if no one is available at the address. Undelivered items will be returned and any additional delivery costs will be the responsibility of the customer. It is suggested that you track your parcel once it is dispatched so you can monitor expected delivery.

We always aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible but some pieces do require up to 20 working days to manufacture. Our manufacturing lead times and shipping times are separate. If you require something for a sooner date please email us and we will do our best to accommodate.



International

We ship internationally with FedEx and DHL which takes between 4-10 working days depending on delivery area.

Please ensure someone is available at the address to accept the delivery. We cannot take responsibility for missed deliveries if no one is available at the address. Undelivered items will be returned and any additional delivery costs will be the responsibility of the customer. It is suggested that you track your parcel once it is dispatched so you can monitor expected delivery.

Please note your order could be subject to applicable customs, duties, taxes and fees charged by your government. We cannot be held responsible for these charges nor can we advise on what these charges may be. We recommend you contact your local customs office for this information.

Please note we cannot take responsibility for any delays in delivery due to a country's customs clearance process.



Returns

Customer satisfaction is the highest priority for us but due to the one-off nature of our bespoke pieces, we cannot accept returns and do not issue refunds on any pieces from our "Botanica Protea Rings", “Bespoke” or “Engagement and Wedding Rings” collections. In some cases exchanges may be facilitated at the sole discretion of Botanica Handcrafted Jewellery. Any exchanges must be requested within 14 days of collection or courier delivery. Pieces must be unworn, undamaged, and in the original packaging. Any pieces that have been sized, engraved, or altered in any way cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

In the unlikely event that a manufacturing defect is noticed, please report it to us immediately and return the item to our studio for an assessment within 30 days of collection or courier delivery. Due to the unique nature of each jewellery piece, any perceived defects are assessed on a case by case basis. Once the piece has been assessed we will discuss whether a repair or replacement is warranted.
